Lyrics by Paco, music by G.I. Red Eyes was written towards the tail end of the sessions for Swallowing The Pill. It was recorded at Indian Trails Studios in Krum, TX with Alex Gerst as engineer. The name of the songs came from the subtle similarity to Coldplay's song Green Eyes. It has never been performed live.

lyrics
daylight begins when my day ends
in between the weeks, the months, the years, that pass me by
and my life has changed but you've stayed the same
and if nice guys finish last
i'll never have the chance
to share with you this dance
to win you with romance
and if nice guys finish last
life's over way too fast
and damn this circumstance
when nice guys finish last
so let my mother know
that if i lost her life i'd never grow to be the best man that i can
cause there's things you let go and then there's things you hold onto to and never ever let them go again
and if nice guys finish last
i'll never have the chance
to share with you this dance
to win you with romance
and if nice guys finish last
life's over way too fast
and damn this circumstance
when nice guys finish last
i'll never have the chance
to share with you this dance
to win you with romance
and damn this circumstance
and if nice guys finish last
i'll never have the chance
to share with you this dance
to win you with romance
and if nice guys finish last
life's over way too fast
and damn this circumstance
when nice guys finish last
