Dancing Like This was one of the very first songs demoed for Swallowing The Pill in September of 2003...shortly after ending our touring for Drama Kids. This version, however, was recorded much later sometime in 2004 live at the Liquid Lounge in Dallas, TX. It was actually released on a "Live at the Lounge" compilation album that included many other local bands at that time.
It features Paco on vocals, with G.I. and Chad on acoustic guitars, with help from friend Doug Kershaw on violin. The song was mixed and mastered by Gene Coleman and Chad Lovell.

lyrics
Underneath the universe
on her inner thigh,
just underneath her skirt
underneath the waves
something I've said before
underneath the streetlight hum
that brings me home to her back door
theres a place, we embrace
and its calling us...
So we're dancing like this
we dance and we kiss
we're dancing when we make love
underneath the streetlight hum
we're dancing like this
we dance and we kiss
we're dancing when we make love
dancing when we make love.
Just above your tallest tree
just above the treehouse and
the place where she kissed me
just across the sky
something I've said before
in between the space you look
inside to see that you are beautiful
theres a place, we embrace...
So we're dancing like this
we dance and we kiss
we're dancing when we make love
underneath the streetlight hum
we're dancing like this
we dance and we kiss
we're dancing when we make love
dancing when we make love...
And its calling us, and its calling us
and its calling us, and we're calling us
and we're calling us, and we're calling us
and we're calling us...
So we're dancing like this
we dance and we kiss
we're dancing when we make love
underneath the streetlight hum
we're dancing like this
we dance and we kiss
we're dancing when we make love
dancing when we make love...
